questions

Interview videos are videos where we interview your subject to produce authentic, real answers. We love seeing the passion in someone's eyes when they are talking about a topic they care deeply about. Usually, the person asking the questions is our producer, though on lower-budget productions, our clients ask the questions. Scripted videos are great when you have a clear message that needs to be delivered precisely, such as an information-driven explainer video. Sometimes we combine interview and scripted videos for clear and authentic messaging. Both these videos are not just ‘talking heads’. We work with you to unlock ideas to shoot the best b-roll content to help tell the story.

Absolutely, our clients can ask the questions. Often, that happens when you choose not to hire a Producer. We do recommend a Producer/Camera operator team. That way, you can sit in on the interviews and have a high-level overview to ensure nothing is missed.

The interview crew is a Producer and a Camera Operator at a minimum. Sometimes we’ll recommend having a camera assistant or sound recordist as well if time is tight. These professionals ensure talent changeovers are quick and efficient.

You know your business better than us, so we always recommend that you give us a guide on what the video is about. We often do get a list of questions from our clients, but it’s important that, in order to get genuine answers, we don’t stick to the questions verbatim. Our interviewer genuinely listens and responds with questions to prompt authentic responses that don't feel scripted.

We handle everything from planning and filming to lighting, sound, and editing. You’ll get clear communication throughout the process, and we’ll guide you on details like scheduling, on-camera preparation, and styling to ensure your final video looks professional and polished.

We’ve conducted over a thousand interviews, so we know how to help anyone feel at ease on camera. Our team uses a relaxed, conversational approach that draws out genuine, confident answers, even from those who aren’t used to being filmed.

Timelines vary depending on the project’s scope, but most videos are completed within 6 weeks from the initial briefing to final delivery. We’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.

Your investment can start from as low as $2350+gst for a producer and camera operator team, half-day shoot and full-day edit. Though this is just a guide and every project is quoted individually based on complexity, duration, and production needs. During your free strategy call, we’ll discuss your goals and provide transparent pricing with no surprises.

Yes, that’s part of our process. Whether you’re unsure between an interview-style or scripted video, we’ll help you identify the best format to achieve your goals and connect with your audience.

Absolutely. Alongside your main video, we can create short, vertical edits optimised for platforms like Instagram, TikTok Tok and Facebook. These clips capture the most engaging moments from your video shoot, helping you reach a wider audience and maximise your content’s impact.

Definitely. As a B2B and recruiting platform, LinkedIn is one of the best platforms you can use currently. With the ability to target specific industries and job titles, we highly recommend this platform for any business looking to recruit staff or advertise to other businesses.

Our quoting mostly relies on how much time it will take to produce your videos and what crew we need. If you already have a brief, it probably has most of the information we need to provide an accurate quote. If you don’t have a brief, we need to know the amount of days or half days it will take to shoot, who will be on camera, is there already a script to work off, how many locations are we shooting in and where they are, references of previous videos you like, how long the video needs to be and how many cut downs. This is all something we can discuss in the discovery call and advise on where necessary.

If you’re not sure of the kind of video you need, we usually want to have a casual chat first to work out what your goals are. We like to say we ‘start from the end and work it backwards’. We want to know what your goals are first. Once we know your goals, we will give you a few options on the kind of video that will help you get there.
